The name "ThriftCon" is misleading because there were no thrift stores at the convention. The tickets are overpriced at $20 per person and $12 to park. Luckily, we purchased beforehand at $11.77 each. Items were outrageously priced. Enjoyed the experience of going, but didn't buy anything. Crazy packed with people. Huge lines. Once is enough for us.

i never write reviews, i’m not that person, but this event was so disappointing i feel the need to rant.
if you had to deal with depop sellers in real life, this is the place. everything is insanely overpriced. saw so many old stained t-shirts marked “vintage” and priced at $30-$60 (or even higher). plain items i could find at any actual thrift store for $5 were priced at least 5x higher. i don’t think i saw one item priced any lower than $20, and most things were much higher. it’s also insane to me that i had to Buy tickets and pay for parking to an event where everything cost an arm and a leg. the tickets should be free or maybe $5-10 TOPS. when did thrifting become a rich person hobby? not to mention it was so crowded i couldn’t even look through many items and there was a dj blasting mediocre music so loud i couldn’t hear myself think. i had been wanting to go for a long time, but was severely let down. i didn’t even stay a full hour. absolute waste of money.

Prices were outrageous. There was nothing “thrift” about it. I picked up a tattered worn out camo shirt (thought it would be comfortable for bed time because the fabric had been worn so thin) and the vendor wanted $200. I thought he was joking. He wasn’t. That’s about how every vendor was priced. Another vendor wanted $100 for a bootlegged shirt. Not going next year.

Atlanta. Lots of T-Shirts, moto jackets New and Vintage, great opportunity for smaller vendor exposure, custom items. Popular Clearance Bins, $10 lb not a deal for me. Snack Foods Available, clean restrooms. DJ Music. Same location as Scott Antique Market. Purchased a slightly flawed BB Simon belt, 1 $20 vintage tee, otw just window shopping. Visited Sunday afternoon, not too crowded, parking easy.

It was my first time and I had a great time. I will say I attended the one in Vegas and it was 90% sneakers and tees. I dont know how other cities rank but I personally was looking for vintage clothing closer to everyday wear.

Not worth the hype. Overrated and way over priced. Been to tons of thrift meets all over the world, never was one that price a ticket over $5 bucks. Thriftcon Denver tho? A ticket to enter is $20 per person, then $15 for parking. Items basically from $25 to $200. Very very very over priced for lots of clothes. Very crowded and chaotic and disordered to find things on racks while constantly squeezing with people. Thriftcon Denver, as they posted on Instagram, already be selling over 10,000 of tickets even before the day started. So they be making $200,000 to begin with just on your ticket to enter. Very much just capitalizing on everyone that comes. But worth it not? Nah.

We went to the Denver convention. You couldn't find anything decent under $50. I get people spend time to find these things, but just because you found a marathon t-shirt from the 90's doesn't mean you can charge $40 for it. The prices were absolutely ridiculous, even in the pit. Any of the $5 bins sellers displayed were full of stained and ripped clothes. Definitely going to the Arc after this to truly thrift ?

soooo crowded, waaay too many people in there at one time! ruined the whole atmosphere. it was all resellers trying to mark up damaged clothes or hype-beast vendors charging crazy inflated prices. not really thrifting prices other than for damaged/super worn clothes which was a bummer. didn't even find anything to make up for the $15 ticket to get in. wouldn’t recommend, hit the thrifts on south broadway or the goodwill bins/outlets instead!
