This school is really amazing and the teachers are great. They helped me through difficult times with my homework. The principle is also amazing too, not only that he is nice but he has really encouraged others to believe in them selves. The reason I am giving this school a five star is that ever since i started this school in kindergarten, everyone has been amazing. So I am giving a shout out to this school of how amazing they are.

I am on my mothers phone but I have gone to this school sence KINDERGARTEN and every day my parents hope a hight school will be put in because of how great this school is. I dont know what went wrong with other kids/ parents when they had gone to this school but our principal is AMAZING, you dont feel scared when you go in the office for an injury, a problem etc. Our vice princapal is also amazing. IACS students are respectful to each other and as far as I know there is no bulling. This is an amazing school and seems to be the best school in Grand Junction. I am now and fith grade and this school is a great way to learn confadance and you learn a lot from this school! Thank you IACS!!!!!!!!

The people involved with this school are FANTASTIC! The teachers and other staff really care about the kids. Kids are able to learn at a comfortable pace and at the level they need. They are challenged to be the best they can be. Integrity, honesty, hard working, caring, determination...everything I want for my kids and more! I Love IACS!!!

This school is honestly terrible. There are no academic activities and for the price of 400 dollars a month, the educational level is pretty low. I don't know if the lunch thing has changed but the school used to not serve hot lunch unless it was Thursday. A long with that, all you would get was a piece of pizza and a carton of milk that you still had to pay for. I would not recommend especially if there are better schools that you can go to FOR FREE! I went to this school when i was younger and I ended up moving to Denver and when I moved, I had no idea what I was doing. I was not taught ANYTHING in this school!

Hello! Today is my first day of independence academy and honestly I am exploding with excitement:) I’m in 8th grade and I hate it at my old school, one of the things I love about independence is the staff and students. I went there on a Thursday for an interview and it was amazing, the kids were extremely kind and thoughtful and the staff made me feel like it was a place more for happiness then stress. Thank you so much Independence academy I will recommend you to anyone and everyone I know!!

People have to remember this is a part charter school. We dont get FULL benefits of school district. With that being said this is an awesome school!! I will pay for my kid to go here and the pizza on Thursdays, my kids favorite part. They recognize their faults and fix them and my children are getting a great education. I see their growing minds everyday I pick them up!!

One of the smartest students I have EVER had in class just got denied entry because of incorrect information. Still denied entry when professionals verified correct information. If all this school cares about is test scores, they just made a HUGE mistake. That little girl would have been nothing but an asset.

my third grade sister came home early today because her head hurt and was feeling naucious. they forgot to mention the fact that they were playing lacross when she got hit in the head by a bunch of lacross sticks and the ball. while she was telling me this story i had no choice but to think "what the hell kind of school lets third graders play lacross. and they didnt even have any fricken gear!" i mean comeon theres as many lacross concusions as there is football concusion and now my sister might have one to. i mean for christ sake if dogeball was basically banned from schools what the hell are they playing lacross for i give them one star for the lack of giving information of possible injury, playing a game they dont even have a pee wee team for, and their pure stupidity
